Easter in Prague

So as you know, I was sick in Prague. The doctor told me I was not allowed to travel, so I couldn’t go to Rome for Easter 😦 I stayed in Prague and relaxed!
Matt and I went on a 6.5-hour walk around Prague on Friday the 25th, and it was so nice! We went to the Easter markets, the zoo area, neighborhoods, the ghetto, the castle, and the mini Eiffel tower! It was so nice. I ate my first trdelnik too, with ice cream in it! It was so yummy!!

My friends Meike, Ruth, and Jens all had friends coming in town, and I had one of my favorite weekends I’ve ever had while studying abroad!
Jens and Meike are from Germany, and each had about 8 friends coming in town, and I loved all of them! I think I was supposed to live in Germany growing up because they were so amazing, and I feel like we all clicked so well!
We went on a pub crawl with Jens’ friends and ended it in the 5-story club on the river by Charles Bridge. I don’t think I’ve ever drunk so much in my life. Matt and I went to get burrito loco afterwards and got home around 5:30am Saturday morning!
We slept until 2 pm and then went into town for the markets

Then at 7pm we went to the pub where every table has a tap to drink from and pour your own drinks! That was unreal. So much fun! After that, we went clubbing and got home around 4 am! πŸ™‚
Easter Sunday was spent in the clubs, which is probably horrible of me, but I had a great time. Margaret got home, and we then went for a walk and watched the sunset nearby.

The Monday after Easter, Brandon, Matt, and I went to the fair in Prague! It was my first fair ever, and I absolutely love it. πŸ™‚

Overall, I had an amazing weekend staying here at home!!
