Barcelona – Saturday

Barcelona – Saturday

Tay and I slept in until 10 am, we showered, and went out to breakfast! The line was out the door, but it moved pretty fast. I ate something gluten-free, and the most delicious thing I have eaten in weeks. It was potatoes, a quinoa burger, guacamole, and hummus!

After breakfast, we walked to the hostel and figured out what we were doing for the day! It was supposed to be raining all day, so we chose to see Casa Milá, which was absolutely stunning! We spent about an hour or so inside, and I loved it. The architecture was incredible!

We then walked to Sagrada Familia and saw that! It was so beautiful! The buildings here are very unique! I wasn’t able to go inside due to some weird time situation and tickets, but I was able to see it still, which was cool! We walked back to the hostel after this and took a nap.

After the nap, we went out to dinner with Jamie, Taylor’s friend from USC. She was so sweet and such a fun time! I also ate octopus for the first time and LOVED it. I got two tapas of them I liked them so much!

We split up after, and Tay and I were headed home after dinner around 11 pm. We were both exhausted and wanted to go back and chill. BUT… instead, we walked past a bar with live music, so naturally we felt inclined to stop and get a drink
We ended up staying until 12:45 am and sang and danced! It was someone’s 40th birthday, and it was such a party in there! I love Spain.

So we ended the night locally and had such an amazing day!!!
