Dear Mom and Dad,

Thank you for life. Thank you for your love. Thank you for making my dreams possible and supporting me through every single thing that I have done in my life. Most of all, thank you for being you. I ask myself every day, “How did I get so lucky? How did I get two parents who support me, love me, teach me, and also let me learn from my own mistakes? How did I get parents who did everything right?” Even when you did something wrong, you managed to teach me. Now THAT is good parenting!

This might seem extremely random, but being so far away and traveling to strange places so often makes me realize even more how great you both are. I see things that you have taught me in my actions every single day that I am here! I am all by myself here, yet you are both with me all of the time! I wish I could be as good a person as you both are!

Anyways, just know that I am so grateful for all that you have given up in your life, just to give me the best life I could possibly have. I am so blessed to have you and have the life you have provided me. I  love my study abroad experience so much and could not imagine a better time! Thank you for giving me that, and for supporting my decision to come here to Prague.

I miss you both, but I know that you are doing well, and that makes me so happy! I cannot wait to show you my home and explore other parts of Europe with you when you come here! I love you both and appreciate you!
